Tai Pan Male, fawn horsecoat mix. Tai Pan came from a New York City shelter in 2001. He is now living in Schaefferstown, PA with six other Shar-Pei that have been adopted from O.S. Thank you Shirley, Bob and Tiffany for again offering your home to another Shar-Pei in need.
Tang - Hello everyone. My name is Tang. I came from an all breed rescue in Connecticut. I am about 2 years old and I am a male, sable brushcoat. I have a very friendly personality and I love to play and have fun. I also like car rides and walks. My life would be quite complete if I had a family that would love me and give me lots of good care and attention. If you are looking for a really friendly dog to have lots of good times with, please call O.S. and ask for me, Tang!

Tang II - Hello.  My name is Tang.  I am an 18 month old, male, black brushcoat.  I was a stray and was rescued by Jane and Tim in Georgia.  They are part of the O.S. team in the south.  They transported me to PA and now I am at Operation Scarlet in hopes that I will be adopted very soon.  I am a very good boy and very well behaved.  I also get along fine with other dogs.  I like to take walks and really enjoy the yummy biscuits that we get at O.S.  I am a good traveler and I love meeting people.  If you are interested in a very friendly, male Shar-Pei, then I am the dog for you.  Just contact O.S. and ask for me, Tang.  My wish is to find my “forever home” soon so that I can enjoy the holidays with my new family.
Tango - Male, fawn horsecoat, 3 yrs old. He is from the NYC Animal Care and Control. He now lives in McSherrystown PA
Tank II – Hi! My name is Tank. I am a three year old, male, red brushcoat. I was surrendered to the rescue by my owner along with my Pei friend Kanji. Our family separated and neither one could keep us. Now both Kanji and I are waiting for a new family to offer us a loving home. I am a very friendly boy. I like other dogs, I love walks and I am very playful. I am crate trained and housebroken. I am very good for car rides and excellent for vet appointments. If you think you would like to have a very nice canine friend, please get in touch with O.S. and ask for me, Tank. I promise to be a loyal and loving companion.
Tascha Tasha - Female, black horsecoat. She now lives in York PA.

Teanna - Female, red brushcoat.  Teanna came to O.S. in 2000.  She had been abandoned at a car wash in Harrisburg, PA.  She is now living a wonderful life in Schaefferstown, PA with six other Shar-Pei who were all rescued by O.S.  Thank you so much Shirley, Bob and Tiffany for showing her that life can be filled with love and happiness.
Teddy - Male (Pluto's brother), shaded black brushcoat. He is the more dominant of the two and is in charge of Pluto.

Teddy II - My name is Teddy.  I was a stray and came from a shelter in PA.  I am approximately 6 to 7 years old and I am a chocolate horsecoat.  I am very quiet, gentle and extremely well mannered.  I don’t fuss or complain about anything because I am just so glad that I have a safe place to stay.  I did not like being on the run.  I was cold and scared at night and hungry most of the time.  Barb and Joe picked me up at the shelter and drove me to Operation Scarlet.  They told me everything would be all right.  Now I am enjoying a warm room with a cozy bed.  I have a bone to chew on when I feel like playing and there are other Pei kids just like me in need of a home.  They are all very nice and welcomed me.  The first night I was at the rescue we all took turns telling why we were homeless.  We also shared what we hoped to find if given a second chance with a new family.  I know that I want to be loved because I have a lot of love to give in return.  I would like a bed of my own.  A big dog bowl  filled with yummy food would really be nice and a cookie jar that is always filled with scrumptious dog treats is every dog’s dream.  I would like a yard to play in and maybe even a boy to romp and play with.  We could roll in the grass and play ball.  Wow, what a life that would be.  As you can see in these pictures, I was a bit shy and a little afraid.  I had just arrived at the rescue when the pictures were taken.  I am feeling much better now because I know that I am safe and no one is going to hurt me.  Thanks O.S. for giving me that second chance.  Thanks Barb and Joe for driving all those miles to save me.  I am one very lucky dog.  When I go to bed tonight, I am going to dream sweet dreams of the family and new home that I hope to find very soon.  Maybe when I wake up, my dream will come true!!
Teddy Bear - Howdy! My name is Teddy Bear, but you can call me Teddy for short. I am a two year old, male, red brushcoat. I was rescued from a shelter in NJ along with my buddy, Simba. This shelter thing is new to me and I can’t say that I like it a whole lot. I was born and raised at the home I just lost and knew Simba my whole life. I feel bad for the family member that was allergic to us, but gee, I sure do miss my home and family. I am playful, crate trained and housebroken. I was with children and cats and did just fine with them. I need a family that will love me and give me very good care. I never want to hear the word “homeless” again. I promise to be a good boy and I will always remain your best friend and companion. You would help to heal my broken heart by calling the rescue and saying “I want to meet Teddy”.
Thanks for listening to my story!
Teddy Bear II - Hello.  My name is Teddy Bear.  I am one of Jada’s kids.  I have two brothers and two sisters.  We are now 13 weeks old.  Everyone says we are very good puppies.  We are crate trained, leash trained, and housebroken.  We sleep all night in our crates.  Two of my siblings are even going to puppy school.  I was just neutered and I have all my shots.  I love to play, eat and take long naps.  I am not too crazy about the cold weather and I did not know what that cold white stuff was on the ground.  I am a very happy pup, but what would make me even happier would be to have a family of my very own.  I am going to make a very big wish tonight when I settle in my bed.  If my wish comes true I am going to have a family to call my very own real, real soon.  By folks. – Teddy Bear
Temmi - Female, red-fawn brushcoat. She is from Egg Harbor, NJ and she now lives in West Chester PA.
Tess – Hello. My name is Tess. I am a fawn horsecoat and I am between 2 and 3 years of age. I am Ty’s friend. We were dumped at a truck stop in Maryland. I never want to have something like that happen to me again. I was so scared, but Ty stayed with me and told me everything would be ok. We were then taken to a shelter and Operation Scarlet came to our rescue. Ty and I were not feeling too good. He had intestinal parasites and I tested positive for heartworm. Yuck!! Worms in my heart. I did not like the sound of that at all. Boy, do those people at O.S. work fast! Ty was given pills and he is feeling much better and he is gaining weight. I, on the other hand, had to stay at the hospital for about a week because I needed to get the heartworm treatment. Those nasty mosquitoes can really make a dog sick. Please, if you own a dog, keep your best friend on heartworm prevention so that they do not get those nasty heartworms. I am feeling much better and I am now recuperating at the rescue. In about three weeks I will be ready to get my spay surgery and then I will be ready to look for my new family. I am very sweet and well behaved. I am quiet and calm. I like to take walks and I am housebroken and crate trained. If you are in search of a really nice dog that will be your best friend forever, please call the rescue and ask for me, Tess. I really want a nice family that will give me good care and lots and lots of love!!
Thai - Hi! My name is Thai. I am a male, five point red horsecoat and I am just nine months old. I came from a shelter in PA. I did not like it in the shelter because I did not know anyone. I was not taken to the shelter by my owner, another person took me there and told them that my owner did not want me anymore. I felt really sad when I heard that. I am very playful and a very happy boy. When I arrived at the rescue I had some eye problems and had to have surgery right away. My eyelids were rolling in and that did not feel very good. That is why I am wearing this funny hat, so that I cannot rub my eyes. I was a very good boy for my vet exam and in another week I will have the stitches removed and the funny hat can come off too. Then I will be ready to go to a new home. I really am anxious to find a family that will love me and give me good care. It is not fun being a homeless pup. If I sound like the kind of little guy you would like to give lots of love to, please call the rescue and ask for me, Thai. You would make me one happy Shar-Pei.
Thor - Hello. My name is Thor. I am a male, black horsecoat and I am about 3 years old. I was not being taken care of and lived in a yard. It was cold and I really wanted to be in the warm enjoying a very good life with my family. They just did not really care if I was fed or warm and they did not even tell me I was a good dog. If given the chance, I would have been their very best friend. My owners were reported to the authorities and I was taken from the yard. The humane league was a very nice place to stay because they talked to me and gave me food every day. Then Operation Scarlet came to my rescue! Oh, boy, things got a lot better for me when O.S. picked me up. I go for walks and the volunteers tell me I am a good boy. That is really nice to hear because I thought I must have been a very bad boy since my owners never left me in their house. My wish this Holiday Season is to find a family who will love me and take very good care of me. In return, I will give them all the love I have which I really feel is a whole bunch since I have been storing it up for quite awhile. If you are looking for a loyal canine friend, please consider me. Just call the rescue and ask for Thor! Happy Holidays To All!
Tiffany - Female, red-fawn brushcoat. Very sweet disposition. Came from Delaware County SPCA as a stray, and now lives in Mechanicsburg PA.
Tika - Female black horsecoat. She came from the Anne Arundel SPCA in MD and she now lives in Harrisburg PA.

Tim - Hi, folks! My name is Tim. I am about 2 years old and came from a shelter in Georgia. I am a very fun loving boy with a great personality. I am a red brushcoat. When I came from Georgia I was diagnosed with heartworm. I have received the treatment and I am feeling just fine. The folks at the rescue said I am in excellent condition and I am ready to be adopted. If you are looking for a very happy and playful Shar-Pei, get in touch with the rescue and ask for me - Tim!

Timber - Hello, folks! My name is Timber and I am just a baby. I am about five months old and I am a male, red brushcoat. I unfortunately lost my home because my owner could not afford to pay for eye surgery that I desperately needed. If the nice folks at Operation Scarlet had not gotten my eyelids repaired, I could have very easily gone blind. I came from a shelter in Erie, PA. Boy, that was a very long ride to get to O.S. but the nice lady who rescued me played lots of good tunes on her radio and I liked that a lot! I am very playful and I am always in search of a good time. I would really like to find a family who will love me and give me lots of good care. I don't really want to grow up in a rescue. If you are looking for a very happy dog who is always in a fun loving mood, give O.S. a call and ask for me, Timber.
Toby - Male five point red horsecoat. He came from Humane League of Lancaster after being hit by car. He was formerly known as Peanut and he now lives in Phoenixville PA.
Trucker - Hi, everyone!  My name is Trucker.  I am one of Mom Jada’s pups.  I am one of five and we are now six weeks old.  Our mommy is a black bearcoat Shar-Pei.  That is why we look like little black powder puffs.  No one really knows if we are pure, but more than likely we are not.  We have a really nice foster mom who has been taking really good care of us.  Her name is Shannon.  Guess what!!!!  She is going to adopt me.  She will be my new mom.  I am so very happy.  I will miss Midnight and Bear, but I know that O.S. will find really good homes for them.  Well, I hear mom mixing up our supper, so I gotta go.  Happy Holidays everyone!!!  I can hardly wait to see what a guy called Santa looks like.  Sounds like he is a lot of fun!!
Tucker II - Male, red brushcoat. He came from a Philadelphia shelter and now lives in Drumore, PA.
Twoee - Male, red brushcoat. He was taken from a home because of neglect by the Delaware SPCA where he was known as Turbo. He now lives in Lancaster PA.
Ty – Howdy! My name is Ty. I am a male, apricot dilute horsecoat. I was dropped off at a truck stop in Maryland along with my Shar-Pei friend, Tess. Boy, tell me that wasn’t scary. That was bad, but things got worse. We then ended up in a shelter for homeless pets. WOW! It was downright scary and so sad to see so many of my canine friends sitting there telling stories of why they were abandoned. Tess was really scared. She kept shaking and shaking. I told her everything would be fine. And it was fine because Operation Scarlet came to the rescue. After that, things started looking up. The rescue is not half bad. We get two square meals a day, volunteers take us for walks and there is even music playing in the kennel area! We get fresh water, dog biscuits, and we even have chew toys! All that is really great for the time being, but Tess and I really are hoping that we have a home of our very own real soon. If you think you would like to adopt me, please give O.S. a call. If you think you would like to adopt both Tess and me, that would really put a wag in our tails. Thanks for listening to my story. I hope we get some good news real soon.

Tyrone - Hi, folks. My name is Tyrone. I am a male, red brushcoat and I am about three years old. I was dropped off at a boarding kennel while my family went away. I waited patiently for them to return, but they never came back for me. The owner of the boarding kennel contacted Operation Scarlet and they came to my rescue. I am a very friendly boy and very cooperative. I do not bark or fuss, I am crate trained and housebroken. I would be a very happy Shar-Pei again if I was told that a nice family wanted to give me a very loving home. If you think I sound like the kind of friend you are looking for, please give O.S. a call and ask for Tyrone.

Tyson IV - Howdy, folks. My name is Tyson. I am a very solid and sturdy male, cream brushcoat. I am about 2 years old. I was surrendered by my owners to a shelter in New York. My eyes were hurting really bad and my family said they could not afford to have the surgery done to help make me feel better. That was double trouble for me. I not only had very painful eyes from my eyelids rolling in, but I had a lot of pain in my heart too because I was losing my family. I was very sad at the shelter and was wondering what was going to happen to me. Lots of people stopped to look at me but when they were told that I needed eye surgery, they just passed me by. Then one day things started looking up for me. Several members of Operation Scarlet rescued me and drove me to the rescue. They were all very nice and they told me everything would be ok. Well, they were right because the very next day I had eye surgery and I am feeling so much better. Everyone at the clinic told me I was a very nice boy and a very good patient. Some of the people even said I was AWESOME! I am a very well behaved guy. I am crate trained, housebroken and I walk really great on a leash. I am a really good dog. Now that I have told my story, I sure hope someone out there will say "I want to adopt Tyson"! That would make me one very happy Shar-Pei. If you are that someone, just get in touch with O.S. and ask for me, Tyson!
Uno - Female, red fawn brushcoat. Uno came from a shelter in the Philadelphia, PA area in 2001.  She is beginning a new and wonderful life in Warrington, PA.  Thank you Gunars and Ruth for giving this sweet girl a second chance at life.
Violet - Female, red fawn brushcoat. Violet was rescued from a shelter in Connecticut in 2002. She is now enjoying her new life in Jefferson Twp., NJ along with two other Shar-Pei. Thank you Sandy and Jim for again offering a Shar-Pei in need your love and excellent care. Violet is now one happy girl.
